General Information
Our Unit portrays the 46th Mississippi Infantry CSA.
When asked or as needed, we portray our counter-part the 2nd Kentucky US.
It is encouraged but not mandatory that members attend all of our scheduled events.
Our members take part in Reenactments, Living Histories, and Confederate Memorial
Services. This is a hobby and meant to be fun for us as well as the spectators that
come to watch us.
We are a family oriented group and encourage members that so desire, to
get their families involved with our activities.
Generally, we try to schedule one reenactment a month during the fall and spring.
Usually, at least one Fall and one Spring event are designated as "Maximum Effort"
events, where we try to get as many of our members as possible to attend.
Over the summer we hold drill a couple of times, just to keep in practice. A company
meeting is held in August, where we elect officers for the coming year, and we hold
another company meeting or Christmas Party in December to make plans for the
Spring Campaign.

Membership Information
Does this sound like a Hobby that interests you?
The 46th is always looking to expand
their ranks.
We have some equipment available for loan so you can "try before you buy".
Prospective members should be 18 or older. Family memberships are encouraged, but
children must be accompanied by an adult at unit functions. You must be 16 or older to
carry a weapon on the field.
Oh, by the way, you don't need to have had an ancestor in the
